I’m Jane Holt.
I’ve been married to Nick since 1999, and we’re Mum and Dad to Ella, born in March 2003.
We’ve always had concerns about environmental issues, and wanted to minimise our family’s impact on our planet, so when Ella was born, cloth nappies seemed the natural option.
At that time, I found the only place we could go to get advice about cloth nappies was on the internet, and although I eventually found an agent who sold cloth nappies, I had to make a 30 mile round trip to see her.

Ella wore her cloth nappies from birth, and has worn them full time since she was about six weeks old. Many people have been interested in our decision to use cloth nappies, but most either have no idea of the options available, or are overwhelmed by the information they have received.

So an idea was born:
apple tree nappies –
- raising awareness about cloth nappies in the local area and providing free, no obligation demonstrations, information and advice.
- supplying a selection of cloth nappies, but only those we feel to be the best quality and value, in an environment where parents can see and touch the nappies before buying them.
- and a range of accessories to make cloth nappying pleasant and easy.

I’m just an ordinary Mum, trying to do my bit for the world my little girl will grow up in.
